NM Partnership for Math and Science Education (NMPMSE) Meeting

Please mark your calendars for the next meeting of the NMPMSE on December 13, 2013 1:00-4:00 at the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science. NMPMSE will be updating everyone on the implementation work from the STEM Education Action Planning Summit and invite your feedback on and participation in the work. Some of the attractions will include:

• A report from the policy committee- participants will hear about some STEM education bills we hope to see in the next legislative session.
• An update from the pre-service teacher preparation committee on their work to coordinate across institutions of higher education in New Mexico.
• Information about the work of the committee addressing teacher PD in STEM.

NMPMSE thanks the gracious host, Charlie Walter, Executive Director of the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science. Hopefully participants will also hear from him about his work organizing an informal STEM education network in New Mexico.
