Call for Proposals: Three NM ISE Net Grant Opportunities
NM ISE Net members and others are invited to apply for three different grant opportunities in Years 3, 4, or 5. Grant funds will be released on a reimbursable basis.
- Communicating NM EPSCoR Research to a Public Audience
- Tier 1: Mini Grants
Budget: up to $3,000 per award
Total projects: up to four per year in Years 3, 4 and 5
Eligible activities include programs, exhibits or digital content that specifically address one or more of the six NM EPSCoR research areas (bioalgal, geothermal, osmotic power development, solar energy, uranium transport and site remediation, social & natural science nexus). - Tier 2: Exhibit Grant
Budget: up to $20,000
Total projects: one in Years 3, 4, or 5
The only eligible activity in this category is an exhibit project that addresses one or more of the six NM EPSCoR research areas. One or more NM EPSCoR researchers must be identified in project proposal.

- Collaborating and Communicating with NM EPSCoR Researchers
Budget: up to $500 per award
Total projects: up to ten in Year 3 (June 2015-May 2016)
Must include both ISE staff and NM EPSCoR researchers and/or students. Eligible activities include regional meetings, proposal planning meetings, field trips for museum staff/volunteers to visit research sites, field trips for NM EPSCoR scientists to visit museum sites, trainings, and lectures or other outreach by NM EPSCoR scientists.
