My role as an undergraduate intern with the STEMAP program is to provide support to my research group. Our project entails going out into the field and collecting soil and water samples near abandoned uranium mines on the Navajo Reservation, particularly in the Cove Chapter area. I am working with Reid Brown, New Mexico Tech graduate student, and Brianne Willis, ENMU undergraduate student.
